Bleasedales Homemade Ice CreamWe make gourmet standard Homemade Ice Cream which we sell from our beautiful Tricycles. Using only simple high quality ingredients; Cream from the local farm, sugar, eggs, real fruit, Belgian chocolate, as well as other goodies! Nothing else is added. We don't put in unnecessary gums, emulsifiers or preservatives. Our ice cream is the real thing! Much of the fruit is sourced from small orchards, so our menu changes seasonally.
Chezzie le Choux Cupcakes
At Chezzie Le Choux nothing is pre-bought, rest assured that the cake you buy has been made with finest ingresdients and lots of CLC. There is no definitive cake list, if you have something in mind ask me and if it is possible I will produce it for you, ther are also lots of other services & events, including cupcake decorating to watch out for and attend. As well as cupcakes to buy, there will be a free draw for a box of cupcakes!
Hickson and Blackwe will be offering a range of cheeses and foodstuffs, made using traditional methods by producers specially selected by us for their holistic approach to farming and their environment. As an activity we will have an old-fashioned ‘guess the weight of the cheese’ competition, with the entry fee being donated to the festival.
Indian Street Food
serves vegetarian and vegan traditional Indian dishes, freshly prepared, authentic, and delicious! The following dishes will be available at the Big Green Festival; Gujarati Channa - Chickpea and tomato curry served with organic brown basmati rice, homemade village-style lime pickle and roasted papadom. Idli - traditional south Indian dish - steamed lentil and rice 'dumplings' served with sambar (spicy lentil soup) and coconut chutney.
Little Valley Brewery
sits high on the Pennine moorland of Cragg Vale near to Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. We brew an inspired range of beers, naturally refreshing and full of good taste.
All of our beers are brewed with 100% organic agricultural ingredients. We carefully select only the best, tastiest organic hops and malts, all brewed with soft Yorkshire water sourced from high in the Pennines. All you get to taste are fine hand crafted beers that are naturally brewed to the highest standards. Our beers are available in Bottle, Cask and Polypin. All of our bottled ales are 'bottle conditioned'.
Little Valley is approved by the Soil Association and the Vegan Society. We do not use isinglass in any of our beers.
Little Valley is also a licensee of the Fairtrade Foundation for our Ginger Pale Ale.

The Nook Bar
We will be running a similar stall to previous years but this year we will be offering a wider range of ciders which are organic. As in previous years we will be using biodegradable cups to minimise the environmental impact.

a high quality Fair-trade mobile coffee concept offering a mobile coffee and hot beverage service when and where you require. We source all our ingredients ethically striving to reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible
Something FishyA voluntary, fund-raising, mobile, 100% vegan, 'fish' 'n' chip shop! All our proceeds go to grass-roots groups like Manchester Animal Protection or to animal sanctuaries to help fund neutering schemes, etc. There's never been a more ethical reason to stuff your face with delicious vegan lard! Go on...you know you want to!
Tank Coffee
Ethical Direct Trade roaster of speciality coffee. We are involved in projects in Africa supporting our farmers and their families; voted on by our tankcoffee customers. We will be serving our delicious single-origin coffees and selling 250g bags of coffee for you to takeaway. Tibeten Kitchen
Find our colourful prayer flag decked yak van for delicious Himalayan food. Cooked by Sonny the Tibetan chef using carefully sourced ingredients and lots of love. ‘Momo’ stuffed steamed dumplings, curries, stews and stir- fries with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Refreshing homemade yoghurt shake, ginger beer and spicy chai. A little part of Tibet right here in Chorlton!
Troffel
Troffel is an artizan choclatery based in St Wilfreds Hulms, Manchester. We make all out chockolates fresh each day by hand with the finest ingredients - no preservatives or artificial flavours.
will be serving up a range of groceries, snacks, fresh bread and its famous homemade soup, expect to taste what’s in season and what’s local. Then take part in our seasonal veg competition - what can we eat in ‘the hungry gap’ without bumping up our carbon footprints?
